MODFLOW groundwater model layers above a Dubai site

From groundwater control to water management.

How a specialist dewatering company became a ground engineering and water management organisation.

WellTech began by controlling groundwater on construction sites. Today we engineer, build, monitor and operate groundwater systems for developments, communities and infrastructure.

Our teams combine field operations, hydrogeology, groundwater management and engineering. Our next step is to make every system we run measured, automated and intelligent.

Our evolution

Four stages, one direction

  1. Origins

    Specialist dewatering

Founded in Dubai, growing into a Dubai mainland company with branches in Sharjah and Abu Dhabi.

  2. Growth

    Regional reach

Operations extended beyond the UAE, with offices in Oman, Egypt and Morocco.

  3. Today

    Groundwater management

Engineering, permanent and community systems, water transfer networks and rain resilience, with 200+ people and 105+ active projects.

  4. Next

    Intelligent infrastructure

Monitored, automated and data-driven groundwater management as a permanent part of the built environment.

A message from our Founder and Group Managing Director
“Groundwater does not stop when construction ends. Our job is to understand it, control it and keep managing it for as long as the place needs us.”

When we founded WellTech, groundwater was treated as something to pump away during construction. We saw it differently. Groundwater is part of the ground every development stands on, and it deserves the same engineering as the structure above it.

Today our engineers, operators and technical teams manage groundwater for developments, communities and infrastructure across the UAE and beyond. We begin every project by understanding the ground and the water, and we take responsibility for a solution our clients can rely on, during construction and long after it.

Our next chapter is intelligent groundwater management: systems that are engineered, monitored and guided by data. That is how we will protect the places that matter for decades to come.
